The kicks, punches, and hiccups
When I saw you on the little screen

Moving and waving to me
Thinking you were saying hi
When it acctually meant goodbye

When I saw your little body
Your toes, and hands
Looking at you answered my prayers

Why did you have to leave me
Why did you have to go
I loved you for the short time
I knew you; I love you still
And will love you each time I wake
